The process is pretty much the same whatever the job.

1. You send me a brief

You’ll need to fill out the attached brief in order for me to understand exactly what it is you want me to do. The clearer we get on the brief the better the job.

My brief goes into a fair bit of detail so we can be sure we are both thinking on the same page. Download Brief here

2. I create a proposal

I will send you a proposal outlining the project and pricing, which will include a round of amendments, as well as a set number of meetings.

3. We agree on a fee

I am happy to charge by the hour or agree to a fixed price for the job. All that I ask is 50% of the funds upfront.

4. We agree on timings

I know from experience that I work fast, so you can rest assured I will set a date and stick to it. Having worked for ad agencies my entire life I am used to deadlines.

5. Final clarification of brief

To make sure we are thinking along the same lines and that I am totally understanding your target market, objectives and brand personality I will arrange to meet up for a chat or at the very least a phone call or skype conversation.  You will need to provide me with any images, copy or background information that will help me complete the work.

6. Draft ideas presented

Most times I get it right the first time however if you’d like a few tweaks made I am more than happy to go back to the drawing board and have another think. Any additional work after this will be charged at my hourly rate.

7. Final approval

Yay, the job is completed and I will ask you to sign off on the job so I can send you the invoice for final payment. My terms are 7 days.

I will need you to fill out a detailed questionnaire prior to your consult so we can discuss your objectives when we first meet. (either by skype or in person). I recommend that we work together for a whole day (that can be spread out over time) in order to create an effective action plan.
